G. Andrew Slater

Senior Attorney

Andrew is a business litigation and transactional law attorney. His current practice consists nearly equally of business litigation and transactional work, he handles all manner of civil litigation from business disputes to large and small construction disputes, to real property and landlord/tenant issues.

Andrew likewise represents employers in defending against claims for harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, unpaid wages, and wage and hour claims.

On the transaction side, he handles real property transactions, business and commercial contract drafting, residential and commercial lease drafting, notes, and other security agreements.

Andrew has extensive courtroom and advocacy experience handling litigation matters through trial in both state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation. Prior to practicing civil law, Andrew worked for the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office.

Andrew was born and raised in Fresno, California and comes from a long line of Central Valley businesspeople. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Andrew studied management and entrepreneurship at California State University, Monterey Bay.
